This course provides an introduction to the principles and practices of group therapy as a treatment modality for trauma. Students will explore the therapeutic benefits of group work, including fostering connection, reducing isolation, and facilitating healing among trauma survivors. The course covers essential group therapy concepts such as group dynamics, stages of group development, and the role of the facilitator in creating a safe and supportive environment.
