BTEC 1303 - Essentials of AI in Business

This course offers a practical introduction to artificial intelligence (AI) with a special emphasis on its transformative role in business. It combines a solid grounding in AI’s history and core concepts, such as machine learning, natural language processing, predictive analytics, and robotics, with a clear focus on how these technologies are used to drive business innovation and decision making. Through engaging case studies, hands-on exercises, and discussions of real-world applications in sectors including marketing, finance, supply chain management, and customer experience, students will learn how to leverage AI for competitive advantage. Ethical considerations are integrated throughout, addressing issues of fairness, bias, transparency, and responsible AI adoption in business environments, built on the foundation of Christian principles and ethics.
