COMP 2901 - Computer Science Seminar II Credit Hours: 1
In Computer Science Seminar II, second-year computer science majors will gain valuable professional development skills to prepare them for successful careers. Students will learn to write effective resumes and cover letters, build a strong application packet, and confidently navigate job interviews. The course also provides guidance on requesting letters of recommendation, understanding professional ethics in the field, leveraging LinkedIn and social media for career advancement, and developing cultural competence to thrive in diverse workplaces.
Prerequisite: COMP 1901 - Computer Science Seminar I Corequisite: none
