BLIT 3603 - Lukan Writings: The Gospel of Luke & Acts of the Apostles Credit Hours: 3
This course focuses on the writings of Luke. The course will feature exegetical study of the Gospel of Luke and Acts of the Apostles, with attention to their context, literary structure, and theological message. It will also introduce some of the main issues in academic discussions of these writings, so that students can utilize commentaries and other academic resources in future study and gain competency in interpreting the Bible within their contemporary contexts.
Prerequisite: Biblical Interpretation Offered: Spring, every 4 years Modality: In-Person
