COMP 3113 - Data Science Credit Hours: 3
This introductory data science course will equip students with the fundamental skills needed to analyze and interpret complex datasets. Students will learn to apply statistical methods, utilize programming languages such as Python or R, and implement machine learning algorithms to extract valuable insights from data. The course emphasizes hands-on learning, providing students with opportunities to work with real-world datasets and solve practical problems through data analysis, visualization, and interpretation.
