CRIM 3803 - Criminal Punishment And Corrections

This course presents an in-depth analysis of the history and operation of prisons and jails in the United States. The course covers the management and operation of prisons and jails from the perspective of both employees and incarcerated persons. It will also focus on innovative community-based strategies for dealing with the offender as well as on the processes of probation and parole.
