INCS 2603 - Philosophy and Practice of Language Learning Credit Hours: 3
This course is designed for students who would like to learn a foreign language for future ministries (lay or ordained). The goals of this course are: (1) to develop habits and skills for independent language learning through exploration of resources, study methods, habit building exercises, and by gaining a broad understanding of how language works; and (2) to understand philosophical and theological perspectives on language, language learning, and intercultural engagement. Each student will have the freedom to choose a language that suits their individual goals and interest, and as a class we will support one another in pursing our language learning goals.
