Partnerships for Doctorate of Occupational Therapy

Affiliation Agreement with University of Saint Mary

MNU has an affiliation agreement with University of Saint Mary (USM) to offer two MNU students per year, automatic acceptance into the Doctor of Occupational Therapy Program if they meet the admissions requirements.

Student must meet the following to be eligible for admission:

1. Students must complete a bachelor’s degree in a complementary program.
2. Students must achieve a cumulative undergraduate GPA of at least 3.0.
3. Student must submit the occupational therapy application and all required materials through the Occupational Therapy Centralized Application System (OTCAS).
4. Student must participate in the admissions process, including an interview with program personnel.
5. Although specific course prerequisites are not required, courses such as human anatomy, physiology, psychology, sociology, or anthropology are recommended.

Affiliation Agreement with Rockhurst University

MNU has an affiliation agreement with Rockhurst University for early admission into their Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) program offered by the Rockhurst Department of Occupational Therapy. Rockhurst agrees to hold up to two class seats per year in the program for MNU students who meet all admission requirements:

Students must meet the following to be eligible for admission:

1. Students must complete a Bachelor of Science Degree from MNU prior to the desired summer of admission.
2. Students must achieve a minimum semester GPA and overall cumulative GPA for all coursework of at least 3.5.
3. Students must submit a letter of intent and all official transcripts to Rockhurst Department of Occupational Therapy by June 1 of the student’s junior year.
4. Student must submit the occupational therapy application and all required materials through OTCAS before September 1 of the student’s senior year.
5. Students must interview with Rockhurst Department of Occupational Therapy before beginning the OTD program.
