Golf Course Management, Certificate

The Golf Course Management Certificate program exists to train students to obtain golf careers in the golf course industry in such areas as course superintendents, golf shop managers, event sale managers, financial bookkeepers, customer service, and even general managers or directors of operations. The certification program includes nine online golf-course specific courses over 12 months that have academic and practical components. The certificate is available to professional and traditional students. Traditional students must pursue the certificate in addition to another MNU degree. Professional students may earn the certificate stand-alone.

Golf Course Management Certificate Outcomes:

1. To prepare students with an understanding of all the aspects surrounding the game of golf and the requirements to facilitate and maintain a golf course and its club-house operations. 
2. To prepare students for a career in golf course operations and management.
