The Sports Management minor provides students with a focused introduction to the business, leadership, and administrative dimensions of sport. Designed for students majoring in other disciplines, the minor equips learners with practical knowledge and transferable skills applicable to careers in sport organizations, recreation, event management, education, and related fields.

Coursework emphasizes sport-specific management practices, leadership development, organizational administration, and the role of sport within society. Students engage in applied learning experiences that integrate ethical decision-making, effective communication, critical thinking, and leadership grounded in Christian principles.

The minor complements a wide range of majors and prepares students to work effectively in diverse sport environments, including interscholastic, intercollegiate, recreational, nonprofit, and community-based organizations.
