Business, AS

To meet the needs of students planning two years of college study in a professional discipline, the University offers the Associate of Science degree. The curriculum leading to the AS degree provides for a minimal general education program in the arts and sciences as well as within the approved major. All credits earned in the AS program are fully applicable to additional study toward the baccalaureate degree.

Degree Requirements

1. A total of 60-64 semester hours;
2. A minimum of 15 hours in residence;
3. A cumulative GPA of 2.0;
4. Satisfactory achievement in an approved major; and
5. Completion of the general education program.

This two-year program is designed to prepare the student to enter the field of business after completing the AS degree. An important advantage of this general program is that its courses are fully applicable to the BS degrees in business. Students will complete all requirements of General Education for the BS degree plus the general business courses listed below for a total of 60-64 hours.
