PRTH 3603 - Theological Perspectives for Nursing

Credit Hours: 3

This course introduces students to key elements of the Christian story and faith with an interest in the connection of these elements for the practice of nursing. Students will reflect on the intersection of Christian faith and the practice of nursing, learning from church tradition and biblical texts as they consider some complex questions and issues that they encounter personally and professionally. They will develop theologically informed practices which will enable them to provide presence, companionship, and connection to individuals and families under their care.
