GNSC 3803 - Environmental Science Credit Hours: 3
An examination of the functional relationships between living systems and their environment focusing on matter and energy cycling in ecosystems, biodiversity and population ecology, economic and policy, agriculture, natural resource and waste management, and climate change. Special emphasis is given to the development of sound principles of sustainability and stewardship of the created order. Student participation in dialog is an important aspect of the course. Each student develops an environmental ethic for personal and corporate action.
