GNSC 2901 - Science Seminar II Credit Hours: 1
Students in Science Seminar II will learn a variety of professional development topics. Topics include: Resume writing, putting together a competitive application, interview skills, identifying and requesting writers for letters of recommendation in a timely and professional manner, development of a professional ethic, the role of LinkedIn and social media in the job market, and cultural competencies (acknowledging and valuing the strengths brought to the workforce and classroom through diverse perspectives). All students majoring in biology, chemistry, and physics are required to take this class during their second year of study.
Prerequisite: GNSC 1901 Offered: Spring Modality: In-Person
