ENGL 3053 - The Art Of Poetry

An exploration of various forms of poetry through reading and writing. Students learn to recognize and use key structural elements (metaphor, meter, image, voice, etc.) through traditional verse forms. A workshop component demonstrates that poetry is a human playground available to all.
