ART 3113 - Tie-Dye, Batik, And Shibori

Credit Hours: 3

A studio course exploring various methods of tying, folding and masking cotton fabric for the purpose of dying beautiful patterns and designs. Techniques are inspired by Indonesian Batik, Japanese Shiboir and American tie-dye. A research component is included at the 3000 level.
