BIOL 4304 - Histology

Credit Hours: 4

This course will explore the tissues of the human body in relation to their microscopic anatomy and physiology through lecture, hands-on activities, and videos. We will move systematically through all organ systems. There is a laboratory associated with this course. Lab activities will include but are not limited to the study of prepared histologic slides, making our own histologic slides, and viewing fresh tissue samples.

Prerequisite: One laboratory course in the biological sciences.
Notes: Three hours of lecture and one three-hour laboratory session per week.
