BLIT 1103 - Discovering The Old Testament Credit Hours: 3
A general education course introducing the literature of the Old Testament highlighting the development of the faith of ancient Israel, to show the roots of the Christian faith, to show the relevance of the Bible to contemporary life, and to examine the place of the Bible in American culture.
Notes: Option: A student who demonstrates proficiency in Biblical Literature may opt to take and pass a placement test in Old and/or New Testament Literature. Upon passing the placement test, an upper division biblical literature course may be taken to meet the General Education requirement. Offered: Fall, Spring, and Summer Modality: In-Person, Online
