CRIM 1003 - Survey Of Criminal Justice

Credit Hours: 3

This course is designed to provide general knowledge about the causes of crime; an understanding of the underlying purpose of law enforcement; and the role of the police officer, courts, penal institutions, and the parole system. It also describes the history and evolution of the corrections process.
