CRIM 4203 - Criminal Justice And Film Credit Hours: 3
This course examines ideas about crime and the criminal justice system that are communicated by popular films. Students will view films that contain a strong criminal justice component and explore whether these films shape cultural beliefs about the nature of criminality and the efficacy of the criminal justice system. These themes will be further connected to deeper theoretical concepts in the fields of criminology and criminal justice.
