ECON 2403 - Principles Of Economics


Credit Hours: 3

This course covers basic economic principles of both microeconomics and macroeconomics. The microeconomic emphasis will be on how supply and demand determine quantities and prices of goods, factors of production and international trade, and how quantities and prices are affected by government intervention. The macroeconomic emphasis will be on national output, unemployment, and inflation and how governments can use macroeconomic policy, including monetary and fiscal policy to stabilize the economy.
