EDUC 4959 - Elementary Student Teaching & Seminar Credit Hours: 9-12
This course is designed to be the culminating course in the Teacher Education Department. It provides the student with a semester-long supervised teaching experience in their area of concentration. Teacher candidates will employ the knowledge and skills gathered over their undergraduate careers while developing the professional dispositions expected of teacher leaders. The course will guide students through the development of their Teacher Work Sample (required for certification) as well as provide additional knowledge and skills needed to secure licensure, employment, and professional growth.
