MUSC 3752 - Advanced Conducting And Literature: Choral And Instrumental Credit Hours: 2
This course is a study of intermediate and advanced conducting techniques useful in all types of musical ensembles. Students will survey and analyze band, choral, and orchestral literature, concentrating on one particular ensemble area depending on the student’s primary musical focus. Stylistic analysis, score study, musical evaluation and response in live application opportunities will be emphasized in this course.
