MUSC 4303 - Elementary Music Methods, Materials And Practicum

This methods class provides knowledge and insight into curriculum development, lesson planning, student/teacher assessment strategies, the creation of PreK-6 classroom schedule, selection of materials, and classroom management strategies used in general music to elementary students (PK-6). This course is taught by faculty who have successful experience teaching music in elementary schools and who maintain close contact with such schools.

Prerequisite: Admission into the Teacher Education Program.
