NURS 1701 - Nursing Freshman Seminar


Credit Hours: 1

This is a specific nursing orientation course to assist students in preparing a successful application and completion of the nursing major. The course will guide students through the prerequisite courses needed to prepare for the nursing program and will help students develop their critical thinking, problem solving, test taking, and time management skills necessary to succeed in a health profession program. Students learn to assess their own character and abilities to meet the demand of this intensive fast paced program. (One hour twice a week; last 8 weeks of semester.)
