PHED 1112 - Aerobic Fitness Credit Hours: 2
Aerobic Fitness is an activity-based course that introduces the student to basic cardiovascular exercises in order to improve one’s personal health and fitness. Students will learn proper form and technique, proper use of equipment, and principles of developing a safe and effective aerobic training program. Students will be assessed in the areas of cardiovascular fitness and muscular endurance. Activities may include (not limited to) spinning, running, power walking, step aerobics, dance aerobics, aerobic circuits, cross fit training, aerobics sports, etc.
