PHYS 3003 - Modern Physics

Credit Hours: 3

Introduction and overview of the physics of the 20th century. Topics include Special and General Relativity, Quantum Mechanics, Atomic Physics, Nuclear Physics, Elementary Particle Physics, and Cosmology.

Prerequisite: MATH 1405  or its equivalent (Analytic Geometry and Calculus I), PHYS 1004 .
Offered: Spring, even years.
