PHYS 3203 - Electricity And Magnetism Credit Hours: 3
An in-depth study of the laws governing electrostatic and magnetic interactions by way of Maxwell’s Equations, Gauss’s theorem, Stoke’s Theorem, and Green’s functions. Also includes polarization, dielectrics and electromagnetic waves as viewed from a vector calculus paradigm. May include relativistic electrodynamics and radiation as allowed by time.
Prerequisite: PHYS 2104 and MATH 2004 . Offered: Spring odd years. Modality: In-Person
