POLS 3803 - Faith And Politics In Historical Perspective


Credit Hours: 3

This course explores the interaction between religious faith and politics at several key moments in history. It will consider the role of both personal religious convictions and widespread societal belief in the creation and sustenance of political systems. By examining both political writings by Christian thinkers as well as political documents with implications for religious faith, the course will analyze both the tension and congruence between faith and politics.
