PRTH 1002 - Introduction To Ministry

Credit Hours: 2

An introduction to the vocation of full-time Christian ministry, exploring the foundational elements of Christian ministry and the spirit-filled Christian life as the essence of what it means to minister and assisting students in responding to God’s call and recognizing spiritual gifts and practices of effective ministry. Students will have opportunity to consider various forms of ministry, and to study the qualities required of clergy, the demands of full-time ministerial work, and the principles that guide effective Kingdom service, whether professional or lay, from which an initial philosophy of ministry may be formed.
