NURS 6323 - Advanced Pathophysiology and Pharmacotherapeutics

Focuses on the development of advanced clinical knowledge in the areas of pathophysiology and pharmacotherapeutics. Emphasis is placed on linking knowledge of pathophysiologic processes to clinical decision making and pharmacologic treatment of identified disease states. Pharmacologic therapies will be discussed in relation to concepts such as evidence-based practice, cost-effectiveness, safety, person-centered care and quality healthcare outcomes.
