Business, AA (Traditional)

To meet the needs of students planning two years of college study, the University offers the Associate of Arts degree. The curriculum leading to the AA degree provides for a minimal general education program in the arts and sciences as well as in approved majors. All credits earned in the AA program are fully applicable to additional study toward the baccalaureate degree.
Degree Requirements
- A total of 63 semester hours;
- A minimum of 15 hours in residence;
- A cumulative GPA of 2.0;
- Satisfactory achievement in an approved major; and
- Completion of the general education program.
This two-year program is designed to prepare the student to enter the field of business after completing the AA degree. An important advantage of this general program is that its courses are fully applicable to the BA degree in business. Students will complete all requirements of General Education for the BA degree in the College of Arts and Sciences plus the general business courses listed below for a total of 63 hours.

Bachelor of Arts
Note: The Traditional General Business AA uses the same general education requirements as the Bachelor of Arts, but the Bachelor of Arts degree requirements do not apply.
