MATH 1223 - College Algebra

Credit Hours: 3

This course involves a study of functions and properties of functions using modeling and analysis of data. The types of functions to be studies include linear, exponential, logarithmic, quadratic, power, polynomial and rational. 

Prerequisite: MATH 1103  or instructor approval*.
*Approval includes a score of 22 on the mathematics portion of the ACT.
Notes: Not counted for math major, math minor, or math education major.
Offered: Fall and Spring
