MATH 2503 - Engaging With Math And Data Credit Hours: 3
The primary goal of this general education course is to develop the ability to solve problems through inquiry and exploration, logical reasoning, and making and testing conjectures. It includes a study of concepts, methods, and applications of quantitative reasoning including statistics. The course emphasizes active problem solving and developing connections with other disciplines. (Not counted for a math major, math minor or math education major.)
Prerequisite: MATH 1103 or approval by Math Program evaluation. Offered: Fall and Spring. Modality: In-Person
