MATH 2753 - Statistics Credit Hours: 3
This course introduces students to statistical concepts and their applications. Students will learn sampling, descriptive statistics, basics of probability and probability distributions, confidence intervals, hypothesis testing (one- and two-sample means and proportions), chi-square testing, linear regression and correlation. Application problems allow students to experience statistical application within their area of interest (Behavioral Science, Health, etc.)..
