SPED 5013 - Adaptive Special Education Characteristics Credit Hours: 3
This course prepares the teacher candidate with an understanding of students’ diverse learning needs and characteristics that support their cognitive, physical, social, emotional, and career development needs. The teacher will develop an understanding of the philosophical, historical, and legal foundations of the interrelatedness of education and special education. Concurrent enrollment in SPED 5023. (cf. EDUC 3414) is required. This course fulfills the requirements of EDUC 3414 T&L II- The Exceptional Learner in the Teacher Education program.
Corequisite: SPED 5023 and EDUC 3414
