SPED 5023 - Practicum Credit Hours: 3
The teacher candidate in this field-based practicum will demonstrate knowledge and skill in planning and implementing effective instruction which is built on standards-based goals for content, students, and community with in the context of Adaptive Special Education. The teacher candidate learns to promote a supportive learning environment that encourages student participation. Concurrent enrollment in SPED 5023. (cf. EDUC 3414) is required. This course fulfills the requirements of EDUC 3414 T&L II- The Exceptional Learner in the Teacher Education program.
Corequisite: SPED 5013 and EDUC 3414
